Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis based in the North West.
Role Summary
- Management of application and credit control processes – Management of optimisation of income.
- Management of all processes with regard to costing and forecasting.
- Management of change control system.
- Input into the management of project risk.
- Management of CTC and CVRs.
- Management of the full sub-contract cycle.
- Provision of commercial advice to Project Team.
- Development of team spirit and trustworthiness within Project Commercial Team and with Client and S/C.
- Management of dispute resolution.
- Communications within the Project Commercial Team and with the Project Team.
- Management of Training plans – Input into the tendering process.
- Training an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
- Working away from home 1 – 2 nights per week.
- Travel to multiple Renewables projects around the UK.
Requirements
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor.
- Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
- Working towards Professional Qualification.
- Substantial post degree experience working in contracting commercial department.
- Working knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel).
- Confident in Training & Coaching.
