Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer on a 2 Month Contract, based in North Wales.

Role Summary

The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing, inspecting, and validating systems and equipment to ensure they are installed and operating correctly, safely, and efficiently. This role involves working closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to deliver fully functional systems that meet design specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute commissioning activities for systems and equipment
  • Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or control systems
  • Verify installations meet design drawings, specifications, and safety standards
  • Develop and follow commissioning procedures, checklists, and protocols
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning phases
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation
  • Provide technical support and training to clients or end users
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Participate in site acceptance testing (SAT) and factory acceptance testing (FAT)

  • NG person ticket
  • Relay testing experience of (Apply online only)kV Transmission stations.
