Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer on a 6 month rolling contract based in Lincoln.
Role Summary
- Managing supplier non-conformance, containment and resolution.
- Engaging with on-site teams (Quality, Laboratory, Engineering, Project Management, Operations) to ensure on-time deliveries to the build line.
- Individual needs to be self-motivated, have problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively across all management levels.
- Critical part meeting Minimum on-site requirement is 3 days/week. May be required on-site additional days to meet delivery expectations or cover holiday/absence.
- Ability to WFH will be dependent on the individual being able to demonstrate that they can work autonomously, efficiently and reliably.
- Expect new starter on site full-time for first 4-6 weeks (entirely dependent on candidate's motivations and ability to learn new skills/knowledge).
- Individual needs to understand that we support a production environment and establishing a strong network with key stakeholders is essential.
- Role is ideal for someone who can work off their own initiative, is a self-starter and problem solver.
- Communication skills and dealing with ambiguity is key.
- Knows their products; supplier Customer is internal manufacturing company.

- Understanding and application of ISO9001:2015.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Quality experience, similar to what the team do.
