Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Store Warehouse Operator on an 8 Month Contract, based in Essex.
Role Summary
- As a Stores warehouse operator, you will be responsible for supporting the storage and logistics requirements of an offshore wind farm.
- You will be required to ensure that all stock movements are recorded and controlled in an accurate and auditable manner with the support of the stores team.
- You will also be responsible for the packing of tools and parts ensuring all dangerous goods and container packing documentation is accurately completed and delivered to a tight schedule. You will be supported by the stores team.
- You will be responsible for meeting Operational requirements whilst maintaining integrity and highest safety standards for their site.
- Providing information to the Site Manager & Store Supervisor to ensure stock is managed correctly throughout the operation as well as conducting and auditing inventory counting.
- Once training is provided you will be required to carry out forklift Operations and be able to crane equipment and materials on and off the vessel.
- Transporting equipment to and from the pontoon using a Bradshaw vehicle with a trailer.
Some of the key areas we want you to be involved in include:
- Order, receive, pick, pack, issue, and dispatch inventory whilst maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately to meet tight replenishment schedule for crew transfer vessel.
- Audit transactions of stores team to ensure accuracy and record findings to present to line manager on a weekly basis.
- Assist the stores team with calibrated tools, control and secure inventory including safety equipment and tooling.
- Maintain a safe, clear and clean environment ensuring all procedures are adhered to including equipment maintenance, auditing the stores as per checklist and reporting findings to line manager on a weekly basis.
- Assist the Stores supervisor and gain an understanding of the weekly cycle /annual inventory checks to procedure and audit results and team performance.
- Expedite effective logistics solutions to the site Operations team to deliver service to our internal and external customers.
Requirements
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:

- Working in & outside, including pontoon.
- Excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements.
- Mon β Fri = 40hr week β Early shift 06.00 β 14.00 & Late shift 10.30 β 18. Optional overtime on request which could include weekends.
- Excellent IT skills.
- The role will provide you with lots of variety, learning opportunities and a good team culture, including Forklift and crane Operations training.
