Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Site Manager on a Permanent basis, located in Surrey. Main Responsibilities To ensure compliance with company procedures and work instructions, guide notes and other information that forms part of the quality assurance, health and safety and environmental management systems. • To ensure that all sub-contractors are supervised in respect to above • To ensure the effective management and supervision of all sub-contractors with respect to time, cost and quality. • To provide effective interface management and supervision of all sub-contractors. • To maintain effective good relations and communication with the Client and the team. • To ensure that the site accommodation and facilities are maintained to a high standard. • To ensure that all materials are efficiently received and stored safely in good condition. • To ensure that site daily records are produced and distributed in accordance with procedures. • To act as the environmental representative for the company on site. • To report progress against the agreed programme for the works and advise of any delays to the Project Manager or Project Delivery Leader. • To comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities commensurate with the role, as outlined in the Health and Safety policy. • To comply with all Environmental responsibilities commensurate with the role. • Any other duties commensurate with the position as may be assigned from time to time. Essential Skills * A formal engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (minimum HNC or equivalent preferred) or QBE * IOSH Managing Safely in Construction or NEBOSH equivalent * CSCS or affiliated card (eg SHEA Water, ECS) * National Water Hygiene Card (if potable water site) * Demonstrable previous experience in a site management role within the water and wastewater industry and/or related sectors. * Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements as relating to site activity. * Ability to use a wide range of IT packages including Microsoft Office * Well organised with the ability to prioritise and delegate to meet project milestones and deadlines * Well-developed interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with people at all levels, both within the Company and external parties on site, including sub-contractors and client representatives. * Good Communication skills, both written and oral * Strong attention to detail Desirable Requirements * First Aid At Work/Emergency First Aid * C&G Confined Space Entry * SMSTS / SSSTS Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
