Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Fitter on a 3 Month Contract, based in Scotland.

Role Summary

Main Purposes of Job

  • This role is to assist work within a site team on mechanical installation activities.
  • Reports to Site Supervisor, or chargehand as required by deployment.
  • Duty of care for themselves and all individuals on site to ensure that they always work safely.

Key Tasks

  • Works to all applicable procedures as briefed in the site induction.
  • Carries out any other duties within their competence to the relevant quality / industry standards as directed by the Site Supervisor.
  • Operate within timescales set out by their Work Party Leader and highlight potential deviations in advance.

Key results/ Objectives

  • Adhere to the site rules as briefed to them by the Chargehand, Site Supervisor / Site Manager.
  • Comply with the Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans and know their duties to be discharged in each case. Carrying out actions and assist in creating required documentation within the project milestone dates.
  • Proactively participate in the completion of all task cards allocated to their team to the required timescale and comply with timesheet and expenses submission timescales.

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience working with AIS & GIS.
  • Apprentice trained, C&G Minimum NVQ Level 3 (Appropriate Course) plus 1 year's experience.
