Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Production Technician on a 12 month Contract, based in Staffordshire. This role is INSIDE IR35. Role Summary Ensure company repair KPI’s are met, investigate, and repair a full range of protection relays and optical CT’s, providing a detailed analysis of repairs carried out. You will also Investigate all production/field PCB failures daily and provide the Quality and POST department with trend analysis in failure modes to improve first time past rate and reliability of products in the field. Main duties and responsibilities • Testing products using test specifications • Following wiring and assembly diagrams to fault find and repair products. • Performing assembly and wiring of products • Carrying out diagnostic fault-finding down to component level on PCB’s. • Creating test reports • Soldering/De-Soldering of components to IPC610 • Complete and present projects using analysed failure data • Proficient in a wide range of test equipment including optical meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes.
