Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Material Resource Planning Controller on a 6 Month Contract based in Lincolnshire. Role Summary Responsible for the accurate daily Production management of multi-area cell output (New Parts, Repaired Parts, Assembly, and Testing) and maintenance of all relevant data on the ERP and APS systems associated with all business service lines for multiple plants. Manages complex logistics control across four distinct operational areas with sophisticated repair routings, assembly sequences, and testing protocols per part. Oversees subcontractor expediting, individual cell inventory management, and work centre capacity optimization to ensure seamless production flow and resource utilization. Production management of multi-area cell output across four operational specializations. Daily communication of all requirements to Cell Management, Engineers, Repair Team Engineers, Assembly Teams, and Testing Teams. Facilitates resolution of complex problems which may impact delivery of parts to the build line and sub-assembly processes. Responsible for highly complex logistics control across multiple series of processes within the business covering weekly programmes, using multiple repair routings, assembly sequences, and testing protocols per part. Manages individual cell inventory optimization, subcontractor performance monitoring, and work centre capacity planning. Key Responsibilities: * Daily performance management of multi-area production flow and output across four specialized cell areas. Facilitating the resolution of complex production problems by organizing effective timely action meetings within 24 hours. Integration of product value streams for optimal performance and on-time delivery. * Daily reporting to Production Planning and Control Manager of complex problem resolution activity to achieve on-time delivery per process targets across all operational areas inclusive of any subcontract facilities that we use. Cross-functional coordination and decision-making authority. * Daily & Weekly report of performance of actual vs plan of each production cell across all four areas, provides comprehensive analysis of any discrepancies to Production Planning and Control Manager. System optimization recommendations. * Monthly reporting of communication and liaison meetings activity across all operational areas to Production Planning and Control Manager. Stakeholder satisfaction management and cross-functional team coordination. * Monthly performance reporting of data accuracy of work orders vs target ensuring process completion, expediting, communication and EIA for inventory management to the Production Planning and Control Manager across all operational areas. * Weekly subcontractor performance metrics, delivery compliance metrics, and escalation management reports. Monthly supplier relationship management and performance improvement initiatives. * Daily inventory position reports by cell, monthly inventory analysis, and exception reporting for slow-moving or excess inventory. Target inventory accuracy with optimized service levels. * Daily reporting of discrepancies within data across all areas, effective resolution plans to be produced and communicated to team members. System performance optimization and enhancement recommendations. Requirements: * Experience in managing complex, multi-dimensional demands from all plants with tight time constraints across multiple operational areas * Experience of Multi-Area Process Management (New Parts, Repair, Assembly, Testing) and able to give expert direction to diverse work teams * Experience in facilitating complex meetings and enabling achievement of requirements across multiple operational areas with cross-functional team leadership * Experience working across diverse operational cultures and departments
