Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Electrical Site Manager on a 6 Month Rolling Contract, based in London.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installation works on a major data centre construction project in London. You will be responsible for managing on-site electrical delivery including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, busbar, containment, and associated materials.
- Manage day-to-day electrical installation works on site including HV/LV, UPS, generators, busbar trunking, and containment systems.
- Coordinate directly with the Principal Contractor.
- Chair and attend site progress meetings; produce and review method statements, risk assessments, and inspection reports.
- Oversee safe systems of work including permit to work (PTW), isolation procedures, and electrical safety documentation.
- Monitor labour, plant, and materials on site; manage subcontractor performance against programme milestones.
- Ensure works are delivered in compliance with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and client-specific technical standards.
- Liaise with commissioning teams during energisation.
