Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Commercial Project Manager on a 12 Month Contract, based in Newcastle.
Role Summary
Our Client is currently looking for a Senior Commercial Project Manager in our Onshore Service Great Britain team. The Commercial Manager will work as a business partner to operations management for multiple projects within a geographical hub (typically ranging from 15-30 sites/windfarms), along with working closely with many other supporting functions/key stakeholders within the business.
The Commercial Manager (together with the operations partner) has complete P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the projects/hub and the role includes but is not limited to the following key responsibilities/tasks:
- Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for projects/hub
- Cost management/forecasting for projects/hub on a monthly basis, with a focus on accuracy and delivery on budget
- Management of risk and opportunities related to projects/hub
- Reporting of risk registers and non-conformance costs
- Monitoring/analysing KPI’s for projects/hub including but not limited to; availability, LTP/Corrective hours, service hours, project spend, project gross margins/costs, billings, accounts receivable/overdue management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operations partner and wider business support functions/stakeholders
