Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a CAD Designer on a 12 Month Contract, based in London/Hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Interpret from in the field sketches, specifications, and technical data to produce accurate designs.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project files
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Perform quality checks to identify and correct design errors
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
- DV Clearance
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings
- Basic knowledge of materials, construction, or manufacturing
