This role falls INSIDE IR35

Overview:
The successful candidate will contribute to the precision winding of stators for large industrial generators and motors in a high-quality manufacturing environment. This contract role falls inside IR35 and is suited for individuals who bring hands-on experience and can work independently to exacting engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform coil winding of stator cores using both form-wound and random-wound techniques.

* Interpret and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures.

* Apply insulation materials and carry out lacing, taping, and vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) processes.

* Operate winding equipment, ovens, and other tooling necessary for stator assembly.

* Conduct visual and measurement-based quality checks during and after winding.

* Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet tight deadlines and high-quality benchmarks.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Significant prior experience as a Stator Winder or Coil Winder in heavy electrical machinery manufacturing or repair.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and process documents.

* Strong practical knowledge of insulation systems and winding techniques for high-voltage rotating machines.

* Ability to work under minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards.

* Physically capable of working with heavy materials and performing manual tasks throughout the shift.

Contract Details:

* IR35 Role is Inside IR35 –Umbrella engagement required

* Hours: Full-time, shift work may be required depending on production demands

* Start Date: ASAP / Immediate availability preferred
