About the role:
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas. Tasks may include:
- soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
- mechanical and wiring assembly IPC620
- kit preparation
- bonding and coating
- testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using Automated Test Equipment
- some basic point to point wiring checks
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused, as we have a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willing and able to travel to alternative site to your home site if required
Desirable:
- Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
