Raytheon UK is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Subcontract Analyst to join our Supply Chain team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in procurement, supply chain, commercial management, and subcontract management while studying towards a nationally recognised Procurement and Supply Assistant apprenticeship qualification and a Level 3 Certificate in the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
You’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting procurement and subcontract activities across a range of programmes, working alongside experienced professionals, with 1 day a week committed to virtual learning.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting the creation and management of purchase orders and subcontract documentation.
- Assisting with supplier onboarding, due diligence checks, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Supporting quotation and tender activities, including supplier communications and data collection.
- Maintaining procurement systems, databases, and records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting contract administration and helping track supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Producing reports and analysing procurement data to support decision‑making.
- Building effective working relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and key stakeholders across the business.
What You’ll Bring
- Five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-5 or A-C, including Maths and English.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- An analytical approach and interest in working with data.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
