Responsibilities
- Successfully driving the support solution design to assure incremental and progressive acceptance of the in‑service support solution.
- Designing and developing the support solution across multiple training systems and environments to ensure a coherent collective training support solution delivering against the requirements of the Through‑Life Management Plan.
- Evolve ‘Design for Supportability Requirements’ and ensure the products or services are compliant with them.
- Responsibility for the implementation of contractual Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements through the programme.
- Deliver the Maintenance Plan and the associated logistics spares recommendations for the products or services.
- Maintain the Logistics Information Record (LIR)/Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR).
- Attend Customer Programme, Design and ILS Reviews to ensure ILS programme drivers are fully understood, considered and the impacts of any associated risks are reduced.
- Support the Engineering Leadership Team by producing ILS engineering plans, Basis of Estimates, Key Performance Targets and Statements of Work.
- Ensure that all ILS activities undertaken are conducted in accordance with Raytheon UK and MOD site procedures that reflect best practice.
- Champion and foster a culture of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
- Perform any other duties required to meet the needs of the programme.

Qualifications
- An engineering background, educated to degree level or with equivalent previous related experience.
- Proven experience managing, delivering and working with Defence Standard (Def‑STAN) 00‑600 and other applicable standards.
- Proven knowledge and experience in ILS / Supportability management.
- Experience in a leadership role within complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes.
- Supportability engineering skills to analyse product supportability and develop and deliver a support solution.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, implementing ASD S‑Series specifications.
- A high level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A comprehensive understanding of Technical Publications and Support Documents.
- Track record of supportability case preparation and delivery.
- Comprehensive understanding of standards and guidance relating to supportability activities.
- Flexibility to travel regularly within the UK to support meetings.
- Security cleared or ability to obtain (SC or above).
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Well‑developed planning and organisational abilities.
- Familiar with Knowledge in Defence (KiD) and the Support Solutions Envelope.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Availability Modelling Tools.
- Experience in conducting a Maintenance Task Analysis.

- Experience with training solutions, army platforms or installation of equipment at customer sites.
- Knowledge of defence or public sector engineering standards and regulatory frameworks.

- SAFe and ITIL4 certified.
