We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Engineering Programme Management team onsite in Plymouth for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. This is a fully onsite role providing direct support to the Engineering Programme Manager and Project Engineers across a range of engineering and development programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project coordination, reporting, planning, and programme delivery within a fast-paced engineering environment.
What You Will Do
- Work within the Engineering Programme Management team providing direct support to the Engineering Programme Manager and Project Engineers.
- Tracking and reporting programme metrics relating to resource, cost, and schedule.
- Inputting and maintaining project data within Engineering Control Tower.
- Setting up and supporting monthly Engineering Project Reviews.
- Supporting bid and proposal activities, including administration of BidMaster.Web (BMW) tools.
- Generating and maintaining simple project plans.
- Producing materials and supporting Finance Project Reviews.
- Coordinating project meetings and taking minutes.
- Providing hands‑on support to development programmes, including potential lab-based activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a project support, engineering, or operations environment.
- Minimum ONC/HNC qualification (or equivalent) with an engineering related focus.
Key Skills
- Ability to generate, maintain and track project plans.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Experience supporting bids and proposals.
- Previous experience working within an engineering environment.
