Responsibilities
- Perform product implementation, modifications, and enhancements to meet specific customer specifications and implementations.
- Focus on team‑oriented tasks while supporting the customer's mission and initiatives.
- Ensure training requirements for customers and the company are kept up to date and completed ahead of schedule.
- Monitor, analyze, and characterize the performance of complex data processing systems.
- Trace isolated faults and distinguish between hardware and software fault sources.
- Recommend, initiate, and oversee corrective actions to resolve faults.
- Maintain sensor equipment on aircraft.
- Provide support on the U.S. Air Force flight‑line to operate and conduct pre‑mission activities.
- Provide support for aircraft checkout prior to flights.
- Integrate and update software and hardware.
- Work with a global team of users, analysts, and other contractor personnel as well as customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5+ years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience with military, data processing, system administration, radar, infrared, or radio‑frequency systems.
- Experience and expertise in sensor payload maintenance.
- Experience with U.S. Air Force flight‑line courtesies and regulations.
- Experience using UNIX operating systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Solaris and radar philosophy.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with military equipment accounts and Integrated Maintenance Data Systems (IMDS).
- Experience working with SAR imagery.
- Experience reading electrical wiring schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting.
- Experience performing electrical wiring and cannon plug repairs.
- Experience using soldering stations.
- Experience using digital fiber‑optic scopes and power meters for inspection and maintenance.
- Experience using digital oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Experience maintaining shop programs as directed by AFI policy with minimal supervision.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills collaborating with end users, analysts, internal staff, and customers worldwide.
Salary Range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
