An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the EMEA Connected Aviation Solutions Team. This role will be working with the EMEA Airports business. You will play an integral role partnering with the Airports business, adding value and providing governance. The individual must have the resilience to work in a pressured environment and will be relied upon to support in the development of the AOP and 5 Year Plan, Quarterly EACs, monthly forecasting and variance analysis. The role will actively provide insight into our finance performance and work with the business to identify and eliminate risks. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Role Requirements
- This role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office during the initial training period. Following successful completion of training, this may be reduced to two days per week in the office, subject to business requirements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Proactively and regularly providing financial insight to support the business risk and opportunities process (development, analysis, mitigation and review) including variance to Plan and latest estimate.
- Work collectively to identify growth opportunities and actions to mitigate known risks.
- Business support for Program and Commercial teams.
- Owner of product profitability information integrity, and supporting Product profitability tracking, including in-depth functional costs reviews.
- Evaluation and understanding of performance drivers and explain the link to financial performance.
- Supporting new business proposals as and when required for Gate Reviews including basis-of-estimate generation, foreign exchange management and risks and opportunities management.
- Review all provisions and communicate where additional provisions may be necessary.
Financial Reporting
- Monthly program profitability and update of known risks and opportunities including variance explanation to latest estimate and Plan.
- Accurate monthly reporting of EMEA Airports performance in SAP.
- Reporting of monthly results, providing supporting analyses and other routine reporting to stakeholders.
- Provide solution based approach to financial review.
- Interpret and articulate trends, provide management information and data to support business insight and actions going forward.
- Response to ad-hoc reporting requests and queries.
- Building a network with all Stakeholders. Champion best practice and look to improve systems and processes.
Financial Planning
- Business partner with the EMEA Airports management teams.
- Operate and coordinate standardised cadence, structure and formats for value stream performance tracking, latest estimate and monthly actuals reporting.
- Prepare monthly forecast, AOP (Annual Operating Plan), Strategic plans - LRP (Long Range Planning) ensuring alignment in the business and associated supporting analyses.
- Develop processes and templates to allow effective business planning.
Internal Control Reporting
- Ensure adherence to internal financial control policies and procedures consistent with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, international accounting standards and all applicable international legal and statutory requirements are in place.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, procedures and financial reporting timetables.

Qualifications
- Qualified accountant or part qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience working with SAP is a must.
