We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as an Executive Event Timer. As an Executive Event Timer, you will be responsible for accurately timing various sporting events across the UK using our chip timing technology.
Pay
Our pay packages and company titles vary based on experience with Chip Timing. The starting wage for a Chip Timer is £200 per event, based on working a minimum of 15 events a year.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete any event preparation and post-event admin
- Set up and operate timing equipment effectively at assigned events
- Ensure accurate recording of participant data and timings is collected, then transferred onto our operating system (Racetec)
- Coordinate with event organizers and participants accordingly throughout each event to ensure a seamless experience
- Represent Race Timing Solution's core values and be professional when involved in any aspect of the company's responsibilities
- Troubleshoot any technical or physical issues with timing equipment (training is provided on this, and a fantastic support system)
- Support with any participant's inquiries raised on-site promptly and in alignment with the company-trained expectations
- Report any issues or concerns with the RTS equipment to your Team Leader or the Operations Manager via the feedback system
- Provide honest event feedback to support the company and individual development
- Coordinate with the allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager for the event assignments to be completed weekly, and attend all 1-2-1 meetings with the Team Leader or Operations Manager
- Complete the online training provided when onboarded with the company in the allocated time frame
- Achieve the monthly KPI set by your allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager, which will be subject to experience
- Complete all assigned events to the RTS standards and training qualifications
Requirements for the Role
- Minimum of 2 years of chip timing experience
- Must be able to reliably commute to either the Manchester or the Letchworth office
- Must be willing to work a minimum of 15 events a year
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection for occasional remote work assignments
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must have a full standard manual UK driving license

- Step 2: This is a formal interview with the Team Leader. This will consist of some questions from realistic event scenarios to see if your response aligns with our company's expectations or important brand values.
- Step 3: If you are successful, you will be onboarded to our training program and expected within 5 events to be a fully independent timer. We have an industry-leading structure for the onboarding process, so please ask us any questions you may have.

Events such as Triathlons, Marathons, Obstacle Course/Mud Races, Cyclocross, School and Charity Sportives, etc. We are looking for staff to join our part-time event support teams and assist in providing timing, results, and equipment to events across the UK on weekends.
