We’re looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team at RTS Infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects across a dynamic rail and infrastructure environment, where you’ll have real influence over commercial performance, project outcomes, and business success.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the lead on the commercial management of projects, ensuring they’re delivered efficiently, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.
- Lead the commercial management of projects from start to finish
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost value reconciliations
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages, including negotiation and payments
- Monitor cash flow and support financial performance
- Provide commercial input into project planning and delivery
- Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff
- Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes

- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, infrastructure, or rail
- Strong understanding of contract management and commercial processes
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Good IT skills and experience with commercial/costing systems
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) – essential
