We are recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across Wirral, supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2). This role is ideal for a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant with proven UK school-based experience, strong classroom management, and the ability to support pupils with their learning, behaviour, and emotional development. You will work closely with class teachers to support lesson delivery, assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy, and help maintain a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms
- Delivering and supporting planned learning activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support
- Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
- Supporting pupils with behaviour management and engagement
- Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and self-esteem
- Supporting classroom routines and safeguarding procedures
- Previous UK primary school experience (essential)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Strong behaviour management and classroom support skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
