rTriibe is recruiting confident and dynamic Cover Supervisors to work across vibrant secondary schools in Flintshire. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and have a natural ability to manage classrooms and engage young people.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and students remain focused and supported.
Your Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver and oversee pre-prepared lesson materials and exercises
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment
- Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
- Collect completed work and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Support students across Key Stages 3 to 5
- Use subject knowledge (Maths, Science, or English – desirable) to keep students engaged
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and senior leadership teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in Secondary school classrooms
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confident, professional, and approachable personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
