We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary diagnostic team, supporting high-quality ASD and ADHD assessments. Working remotely, you will carry out comprehensive mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments, take detailed developmental histories, and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions that inform diagnostic decisions. Your work will be central to ensuring our assessments are thorough, evidence-based and person-centred, with clear clinical formulation and high-quality reports.
Above all, you will help ensure that individuals experience a compassionate, respectful and supportive assessment journey, backed by robust clinical governance, supervision and collaborative working.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and neurodevelopmental assessments for ASD and ADHD
- Produce high-quality, structured clinical reports suitable for diagnostic decision-making
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NMC and organisational standards
- Support robust clinical governance, audit and quality standards
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care throughout the assessment process
- Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists and other MDT members
- Communicate professionally within a fully remote team
Service Development & Quality Improvement
- Engage in audit, reflective practice and quality improvement activities
- Maintain active NMC registration and adhere to the NMC Code
- Engage in supervision and CPD
- Maintain confidentiality and information governance standards in a remote environment
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration
Experience conducting structured mental health and risk assessments
Excellent report-writing and documentation skills
Confident working autonomously in a remote setting
Training in ADOS-2, ADI-R, DIVA assessment training
Experience delivering remote assessments
Experience in independent/private healthcare settings
Postgraduate training in neurodevelopmental conditions
