Are you an experienced ADHD Nurse Prescriber looking to work in a values-led organisation where high-quality care, compassion, and integrity genuinely matter? RTN Mental Health Solutions is a specialist mental health service committed to delivering inclusive, neuroaffirmative, and person-centred care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ADHD Nurse Prescriber to join our growing remote clinical team, supporting individuals to achieve the best possible outcomes from their ADHD treatment.

About the Role

As an ADHD Nurse Prescriber, you will play a key role in the titration, prescribing, and ongoing medication management of clients with ADHD. You will work autonomously while being fully supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists. This role is ideal for a clinician who values clinical excellence, clear communication, and empowering clients to make informed decisions about their care.

What You’ll Do

  • Medication Management & Prescribing: Independently prescribe and manage stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medication in line with NICE guidelines and RTN clinical protocols. Conduct regular medication reviews, monitoring efficacy, side effects, adherence, and overall client wellbeing. Provide clear, compassionate education and guidance to clients and their families regarding medication use, benefits, and potential side effects. Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, coordinated, and high-quality care.
  • Clinical Governance & Quality: Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation in line with regulatory, legal, and organisational requirements. Adhere to NMC prescribing standards, maintaining professional registration and appropriate indemnity insurance. Contribute to clinical audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives. Keep up to date with best practice, research, and developments in ADHD treatment.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, person-centred care. Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and service development initiatives. Provide supervision or mentorship to junior staff where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
  • Independent Prescriber qualification (V300)
  • Experience in ADHD treatment, titration, and medication management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and inclusive approach
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred, neuroaffirmative care
