The Role

We’re looking for a Diagnostic Services Administrator to join our growing Diagnostic Administration team. This is a key role supporting the assessment and diagnostic process for individuals undergoing ADHD and ASD evaluations. You will be responsible for coordinating diagnostic assessments, managing client communications, and maintaining accurate clinical records, all while ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for clients and clinicians. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in mental health and neurodevelopmental care.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment Coordination

  • Coordinate ADHD and ASD diagnostic assessments from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for clients.
  • Assign assessments to the appropriate Clinical Psychologist and monitor progress through to completion.
  • Assist with the administration and scoring of standardised assessments under the supervision of qualified clinicians.

Administrative and Scheduling Support

  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and communication for assessment appointments, reports, and follow-ups.
  • Handle client and family enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential records in line with data protection and clinical governance standards.

Data and Reporting

  • Support the collection, organisation, and analysis of assessment data to assist clinicians with diagnostic formulations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, reports, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for audits, reporting, and quality assurance activities.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, clinicians, and administrative staff.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure efficient coordination of diagnostic services and a joined-up client experience.
  • Contribute ideas for service improvement and help streamline internal processes.

About You

Essential:

  • Psychology degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) AND/OR extensive knowledge in reviewing clinical reports.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in a mental health or diagnostic services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy and sensitivity when supporting individuals with ADHD and ASD.
  • Confidence working collaboratively in a remote, multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Desirable:

  • Experience working specifically with ADHD and ASD assessments.
  • Additional training or certification in neurodevelopmental assessment or support.
  • Knowledge of relevant diagnostic tools and assessment techniques.
