We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for short-term cover on a civils project in Cambridge, focusing on Section 278 works. This role is ideal for a competent engineer looking to take on a 2-week contract covering holiday leave, with a strong day rate available.

  • Setting out for 278 works including kerbs, footpaths, road construction, and drainage
  • Working with robotic total stations and GPS equipment
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
  • Ensuring quality control and compliance with design specifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Section 278 works
  • Competent with setting out using Leica/Trimble
  • CSCS card (essential)
