We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical services on a high-quality commercial office fit-out project. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to drive programme deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all mechanical works on site, including HVAC, pipework, and associated systems.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications and programme requirements.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and other site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce site regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Track progress, report on milestones, and address any delays or issues proactively.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders as required.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, ideally within commercial fit-out projects.
- Strong background in mechanical building services.
- SMSTS (or equivalent) certification.
- CSCS card (relevant level).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
