We are looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E services on a major commercial construction project. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensure health & safety compliance, and drive the project through to successful completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team delivering high quality commercial developments.
Responsibilities
- Manage all mechanical and electrical works on site from installation through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate M&E subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.
- Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and RAMS.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging activities.
- Coordinate with other trades and the wider construction team.
- Support commissioning, testing, and client handover processes.
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations.
- Experience managing HVAC, pipework, electrical distribution, containment, lighting, and associated systems.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
