We are looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E services on a major commercial construction project. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensure health & safety compliance, and drive the project through to successful completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team delivering high quality commercial developments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all mechanical and electrical works on site from installation through to commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate M&E subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.
  • Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings.
  • Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and RAMS.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging activities.
  • Coordinate with other trades and the wider construction team.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and client handover processes.
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations.
  • Experience managing HVAC, pipework, electrical distribution, containment, lighting, and associated systems.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
