We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to work on a water infrastructure scheme, supporting the delivery of key works across the project. This is a site-based role, overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations on the water scheme
- Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Engineers, and client representatives
- Ensure RAMS, permits, and site documentation are in place and adhered to
- Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
- Resolve site issues and drive productivity
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on water or civil engineering projects
- Background in water treatment, utilities, pipelines, pumping stations, or MEICA works (desirable)
- SMSTS (essential)
- CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)
- First Aid at Work
- Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator (desirable)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
