We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to support the delivery of a marine civils package on a major infrastructure project. This is a fast-paced, site-based role offering the opportunity to work on complex coastal and marine works within a challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Leading setting out and engineering activities in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Overseeing marine civils works including structures, piling, and coastal infrastructure
- Managing and mentoring junior engineers and site engineers
- Ensuring quality control, including ITPs, inspections, and as-built records
- Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with daily site operations and planning
This position is ideal for a highly capable Senior Engineer with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, who can take ownership of engineering activities and support the wider project team from day one.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on marine or major civils projects
- Strong setting out and surveying skills (GPS/Total Station)
- Experience working on marine, coastal, or heavy civils packages
- Good understanding of QA processes and technical documentation
- CSCS card (essential)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, challenging site environment
