We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead and coordinate electrical installation works on a commercial construction project. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day electrical site operations on a commercial build project
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour teams
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
  • Oversee installation quality and maintain compliance with regulations and project standards
  • Chair and attend site meetings with project teams and clients
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Monitor progress, manage site reporting, and resolve operational issues
  • Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities
  • Maintain strong health & safety standards and site documentation
  • Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth delivery

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and construction sequencing
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities
  • Experience delivering projects to programme and budget targets
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Certifications: Gold / Black ECS card, SSSTS / SMSTS
