We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead and coordinate electrical installation works on a commercial construction project. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover.
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day electrical site operations on a commercial build project
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour teams
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
- Oversee installation quality and maintain compliance with regulations and project standards
- Chair and attend site meetings with project teams and clients
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Monitor progress, manage site reporting, and resolve operational issues
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities
- Maintain strong health & safety standards and site documentation
- Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and construction sequencing
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities
- Experience delivering projects to programme and budget targets
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Certifications: Gold / Black ECS card, SSSTS / SMSTS
