We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a major commercial construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee mechanical installation works, ensure high quality delivery, and support successful project completion within programme and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all mechanical installation activities on site.
  • Manage and monitor mechanical subcontractors and direct labour teams.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to plan and coordinate works.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, and other trades to maintain programme delivery.
  • Monitor progress against project schedules and identify potential delays or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
  • Assist with commissioning activities and project handover documentation.
  • Attend site meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical building services installations.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of construction health and safety regulations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades on live construction sites.
  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.
  • CSCS card required.
