My client are a specialist tunnelling subcontractor who are currently seeking a Foreman to help deliver tunnelling works in Loughborough, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities

  • Toolbox talks

  • Supervising tunnelling operatives and subcontractors
  • Managing the day‑to‑day delivery of tunnelling and associated civil engineering works
  • Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
  • Coordinating plant, labour, and site activities
  • Monitoring quality standards and maintaining site records
  • Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

  • Black or Gold CSCS
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Previous experience working on tunnelling or underground civil engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of tunnelling operations and safe systems of work
  • IT literate
  • Full UK driving licence
