My client are a specialist tunnelling subcontractor who are currently seeking a Foreman to help deliver tunnelling works in Loughborough, with an immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Ordering materials
- Supervising tunnelling operatives and subcontractors
- Managing the day‑to‑day delivery of tunnelling and associated civil engineering works
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Coordinating plant, labour, and site activities
- Monitoring quality standards and maintaining site records
- Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Previous experience working on tunnelling or underground civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of tunnelling operations and safe systems of work
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
