- Managing day-to-day site operations across a major 400kV substation project
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Managing civils, groundworks, concrete and associated infrastructure works
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification
- Coordinating with the wider project team and electrical/HV contractors
- Reviewing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety
- Reporting into the Project/Construction Manager
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure
- Experience working on substations, energy infrastructure or major civils projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of site health & safety and construction processes
- Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- National Grid experience / NG Persons / TP137 or SR163 would be advantageous
