My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Project Manager to help deliver a water treatment project in Winchester, with an immediate start available.

The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background.

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for project delivery
  • Managing project programmes and budgets
  • Client and stakeholder liaison
  • Managing subcontractors and site teams
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Managing RAMS, permits and project documentation
  • Monitoring progress and commercial performance
  • Managing project risks and reporting
  • Ensuring works are delivered on programme, within budget and to specification
  • Leading project meetings and providing progress updates

Project Manager Requirements

  • Black or Gold CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • Previous water industry experience is essential
  • Previous experience managing water treatment projects is essential
  • Strong civil engineering background
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
  • Strong programme and commercial management experience
  • Good understanding of health and safety and quality requirements
  • IT literate
  • Full UK driving licence
