We are currently recruiting for experienced Gold Card Electricians for a long-term project at AWE Aldermaston, working on containment and electrical infrastructure within a secure environment. This is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale site, involving high-volume containment installation and electrical works.
Duties:
- Installation of containment systems including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking
- 1st fix electrical installations
- Lighting and power distribution
- Working from technical drawings
- Installation work across site areas
- Liaising with site management and other trades
Requirements:
- Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
- Previous experience on commercial or large-scale projects
- Strong containment experience essential
- Own tools and PPE
- Ability to work from drawings
- Must be able to pass strict security clearance (can take up to 2 weeks depending on submission speed)
Key Details:
- Hours: 07:00 – 16:30 (9 hours paid)
- Must be in the car park by 07:00 to secure parking
- Long-term work available
Important:
- Must bring Passport, Driving Licence, and Utility Bill on first day
- All candidates will be subject to Drug & Alcohol testing during induction
