We are currently recruiting for Electrical Mates / Improvers to support electricians on a long-term project at AWE Aldermaston, assisting with containment and installation works on a secure site. This is a great opportunity to work on a large-scale project with ongoing work available.

Duties:

  • Assisting with installation of containment systems including tray, basket, conduit, and trunking
  • Supporting 1st fix electrical work
  • Moving materials and preparing work areas
  • Assisting with lighting and power installation
  • Following instructions from electricians and supervisors
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Requirements:

  • ECS Card preferred
  • Previous experience on construction or commercial sites
  • Basic understanding of containment work
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Must be able to pass strict security clearance (can take up to 2 weeks depending on submission speed)

Key Details:

  • Hours: 07:00 – 16:30 (9 hours paid)
  • Must be in the car park by 07:00 to secure parking
  • Long-term work available

Important:

  • Must bring Passport, Driving Licence, and Utility Bill on first day
  • All candidates will be subject to Drug & Alcohol testing during induction
