We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / General Foreman to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of groundworks operations on projects throughout the Durham area. Main Duties
- Oversee several groundworks teams, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules.
- Lead site activities and maintain productivity across all work areas.
- Organise labour, plant, and material requirements to keep operations running smoothly.
- Monitor progress on site and ensure all activities meet health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure works are carried out to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks when necessary.
- Address and resolve operational issues to prevent delays and maintain programme targets.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, General Foreman or similar role.
