Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer / Shift Manager to work night shifts on a major heavy civils and clean water infrastructure project in Southampton. The role will involve overseeing night works associated with cofferdam backfill, pipework installation, and heavy civils operations.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate night shift operations on site
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme
- Manage subcontractors and site teams during shift operations
- Maintain accurate records and handovers between shifts
- Ensure quality and HSEQ standards are maintained throughout works
Site Engineer Requirements:
- Previous experience within heavy civils or water infrastructure
- EUSR Blue is a MUST
- CSCS Card
- SSSTS/SMSTS
- Strong communication and shift management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment
