CV Library are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a busy groundworks package on a project in Snodland, Kent.

This is an immediate start with approximately 8 months' work, managing a team of up to 15 operatives on site.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a groundworks package.
  • Supervising and coordinating up to 15 groundworkers and plant operatives.
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
  • Liaising with the main contractor, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and maintaining health & safety compliance.
  • Managing labour, plant and materials efficiently.
  • Completing site paperwork and reporting progress to the Contracts Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
  • Essential: Previous employment with a groundworks subcontractor.
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and maintain programme.
