CV Library are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a busy groundworks package on a project in Snodland, Kent.
This is an immediate start with approximately 8 months' work, managing a team of up to 15 operatives on site.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of a groundworks package.
- Supervising and coordinating up to 15 groundworkers and plant operatives.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
- Liaising with the main contractor, subcontractors and site teams.
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and maintaining health & safety compliance.
- Managing labour, plant and materials efficiently.
- Completing site paperwork and reporting progress to the Contracts Manager.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Essential: Previous employment with a groundworks subcontractor.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and maintain programme.
