We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team on a major site-based M&E project. Working with a leading Tier 1 contractor, you will play a key role in managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution across all stakeholders. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a site environment and has strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Maintain and update document control systems (e.g. Asite, Viewpoint, Aconex, 4Projects)
- Ensure documents are correctly logged, tracked, and distributed
- Control drawing registers and revision management
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure document accuracy
- Support QA processes and ensure compliance with project standards
- Archive and manage handover documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within M&E, construction, or engineering projects
- Experience working with a Tier 1 contractor or large-scale projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of document control systems (e.g. Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, etc.)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work site-based full-time
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable
- Previous experience on large commercial, data centre, or infrastructure projects
- Understanding of M&E drawings and technical documentation
- Knowledge of ISO standards and QA processes
