My client is a leading civil engineering contractor who is currently seeking a Site Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of a major civils package on Sizewell C. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, working on a complex package of works including piling, reinforced concrete structures, and TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) operations.

Site Setting Out Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out accurate setting out for piling, concrete, and associated civils works.
  • Producing and maintaining setting out records.
  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and project specifications.
  • Supporting TBM operations through surveying and engineering control activities.
  • Conducting as-built surveys and producing relevant documentation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of technical documentation, work packs, and inspection test plans.

Site Setting Out Engineer Requirements:

  • CSCS Card.
  • Proven experience setting out piling and reinforced concrete works.
  • Experience using GPS, robotic total stations, and surveying equipment.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and as-built surveys.
  • Experience working alongside tunnelling or TBM operations is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
