We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a long-term residential housing project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure and housing works on a major development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out for housing plots, roads, kerbs, and drainage works
  • Ensuring all works are completed accurately and in line with design specifications
  • Carrying out quality assurance checks and maintaining QA records
  • Supervising and coordinating subcontractors on site
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager / Project Manager
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Assisting with as-built surveys and site documentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience working on residential housing developments
  • Strong setting out experience using GPS and total station equipment
  • Knowledge of roads, kerbing, drainage, and infrastructure works
  • Good understanding of QA procedures and site documentation
  • CSCS card essential
  • SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
