Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a live public realm scheme in Dartford on an initial 8-month contract, with an immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs, paving and associated public realm works
- Working from drawings, specifications and method statements
- Quality control, as-builts and QA documentation
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and local authority representatives
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on public realm or highways projects
- Strong setting out and surveying skills
- CSCS card (minimum)
- Competent with AutoCAD and surveying equipment (Total Station / GPS)
- Ability to work independently and hit deadlines
