Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a road widening scheme in Edinburgh. This is a fixed-term contract role offering a strong day rate and a defined programme of works.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Setting out for road widening, drainage, kerbing, and associated highways works\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme\\n\\n * \\n\\n Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records\\n\\n * \\n\\n Working closely with the Site Manager and subcontractors\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or road projects\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competent with setting out equipment (GPS / Total Station)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong understanding of highways specifications and civils construction\\n\\n * \\n\\n Valid CSCS card (essential)\\n\\n * \\n\\n SMSTS or SSSTS desirable but not essential\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer:\\n\\n * \\n\\n £350 – £400 per day, depending on experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n 7 months’ work on a well-structured project\\n\\n * \\n\\n Start date of 9th February\\n\\nIf you are a Site Engineer available for a February start and interested in a road widening project in Edinburgh, please apply with your CV for further details
