We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a long-term contract role on a major highways and drainage infrastructure package in Norwich.
Role Overview:
- Position: Site Engineer
- Location: Norwich, Norfolk
- Project: Highways and drainage package
- Duration: 2 years
- Start Date: Immediate
- Rate: £350 – £400 per day (CIS/LTD)
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for highways and drainage works
- Interpreting drawings and ensuring works are carried out to spec
- QA, as-builts, and daily reporting
- Working closely with the site management team and subcontractors
- Ensuring HSEQ standards are maintained on site
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years\’ experience as a Site Engineer on civils/infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of highways and deep drainage works
- Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)
- CSCS card essential
- SMSTS or SSSTS desirable but not essential
