We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a road and drainage package in Bletchley. This is a 5-month – 8 month contract role, starting immediately, working with a reputable civil engineering contractor on a key infrastructure scheme. The role will involve setting out, quality assurance, and technical support for road construction and drainage installation. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working on highways or infrastructure projects with a focus on drainage and earthworks. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for roads, drainage (deep and shallow), kerbs, and other civil works * Reading and working from construction drawings and technical specifications * Managing site records, as-builts, ITPs, and daily reporting * Ensuring works are delivered in line with safety, quality, and programme requirements * Coordinating with subcontractors, supervisors, and the site management team * Assisting with progress tracking and technical problem-solving on site Requirements: * Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent * Minimum 3 years\’ experience on civil engineering projects (roads and drainage essential) * Proficient with GPS and total station equipment (Leica/Trimble preferred) * Strong understanding of drainage systems, levels, and highway specifications * CSCS card (essential) * SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred) * Full UK driving licence * Must be available to start immediately What’s on Offer: * Immediate start on an established infrastructure scheme * 5-8 month contract with potential for further work * Competitive day rate (Ltd or CIS) * Opportunity to work with a well-regarded civil engineering team If this this sounds of interest please can you apply
