We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major commercial project with over 12 months of work available. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to take a key role in overseeing mechanical installation works, managing site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on a large commercial project. * Manage mechanical engineers, tradespeople and subcontractors on site. * Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes. * Monitor progress and report any issues or delays to the Project Manager. * Coordinate with other trades and site management to ensure smooth project delivery. * Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current health & safety requirements. * Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure a high standard of workmanship. * Assist with planning, sequencing and allocation of labour and materials. * Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates. * Identify and resolve technical and site-based issues. * Ensure relevant paperwork, permits, inspections and records are maintained. Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial projects. * Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and installation. * Previous experience supervising mechanical teams and subcontractors. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. * Strong understanding of health & safety requirements. * Good communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Relevant qualifications such as SSSTS/SMSTS and appropriate mechanical trade qualifications are desirable.
