My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a Water Treatment Works (WTW) project in Solihull, with an immediate start available. This is an 18-month project, offering long-term work for an experienced Site Manager with a strong water background.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Stakeholder liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Ordering materials
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising subcontractors and site teams
- Managing the delivery of works on the WTW
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Overseeing quality control, inspections and site records
- Working closely with the Project Manager to maintain programme and project delivery
Site Manager Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- SMSTS
- Previous experience managing WTW projects is essential
- Strong water and civil engineering background
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Good understanding of health and safety and quality requirements
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
