We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a well-established principal contractor on a major heavy civils project based in Woking. This is a long-term contract role offering 12 months of consistent work, starting immediately (Monday 18th August) This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to take ownership of engineering activities on-site, ensuring delivery is carried out safely, to spec, and on time. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all setting out and engineering works on site. * Manage sub-contractors and ensure works are delivered to specification. * Liaise with project managers, design teams, and site operatives. * Maintain quality assurance and health & safety standards. * Produce and review technical documentation, RAMS, ITPs etc. * Monitor progress against programme and report any delays. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on heavy civil engineering projects. * Previous work with a principal contractor is essential. * Strong setting out and site engineering background. * Excellent knowledge of civil engineering construction methods. * CSCS card (essential), SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable). * Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
